Changchun American International School (CAIS) was established in 2006 by Mr. Daniel Chou and Ms. Irene Chu with less than 10 students and has since grown to over 520 students and over 70 teachers from more than 20 different countries. 

CAIS serves children of China’s global expatriate communities and is constituted by different sections including the Deutsche Internationale Schule Changchun.

CAIS is a Nursery - 12 International School in Jilin Province and authorized by Provincial and Central Governments and the IBO, and DISC currently offers Nursery – Grade 5.
